Fast440 is pleased to offer this True Survivor 1972 Citroen SM Coupe in exceptional condition throughout. Parked in 2003, this SM has seen proper storage inside an Aircraft Hangar in the Dallas area since. Paint is 100 Percent original and in great shape, and the condition of the Vehicle Interior is a feast for the eyes for those who appreciate a frozen in time visual experience. Everything inside of the car is beautifully preserved including the soft and supple Leather Seats which are free of cracks or notable wear. The Car was obviously in excellent condition and well maintained when parked.
The second elderly owner insists the car ran perfectly when parked, and we believe it. The Engine turns freely under It's own starting power, and we are confident the Engine is in good shape from the Cylinder Heads down. Some Carburetor work, Fuel System Cleaning and the usual duties associated with bringing a car back from long term storage will need to be addressed. It appears that some of the Air Suspension components were replaced prior to being parked. All electricals function with the exception of the Power Windows. We do not have the expertise to work on these rare cars, so we are going to stay away from that prospect. Most importantly, the body on this Citroen is as solid as you could ever ask for, and we make that statement with cautious observation. The rust bucket SM's we have seen advertised lately cannot hold a candle to this one.

Collector owned, this SM is believed to be a 2 owner vehicle.
All power options are functional, and the interior shows beautifully with the proper patina one would expect.

The current owner of this Citroen SM had given his local Foreign Automobile experts an "open check" to go over the vehicle mechanically.

I have received numerous questions regarding the originality of this vehicle. I believe that the vehicle may have been resprayed at sometime in the past 20 years, but there is no evidence of over spray or runs.
